Challenge:
Create a resilient landscape along an active rail right-of-way—high sun/wind exposure, salt influence, variable soils, and strict access/safety windows—while controlling water use and life-cycle costs.

Solution:

• ET-informed scheduling with hydrozones by station/segment
• Master valve + flow sensing for leak detection/shutoff
• Engineered drainage on embankments and low points
• Large-caliper palms and resilient groundcovers for continuity
• O&M protocols for pruning, irrigation tuning, and replacements

Results:
A continuous green corridor that cools, unifies, and is serviceable alongside live rail operations.
